Well this came out better than expected. This would be one of the new Pokemon in Black and White, more commonly known as Rankurusu! That's what I prefer to call him, anyway. Everytime I hear "Ranculus" I think of the Rancor from Return of the Jedi :P

I think I'm pleased more so with the type in this one than anything...simply because I managed to crank out a different style for once!

As always, Pokemon is © Nintendo.

Nope, just Illus CS5's width tool. And a rounded cap for the ends on the type.

Awesome as always!

But isn't it Rankurusu?

Yep. "Ranculus" is just a more...literal way of saying his name, I guess. "L" sounds in the Japanese language are replaced by "R" sounds, so "Rankurusu" could be more literally spoken as "Ranculus" in English.

That's how I understand it, anyway.

never heard it referred to a ranculus before, so I ran to serebii to see if the starters' english names had been revealed. they haven't; where have you heard it being called ranculus?

nice crisp logo, anyway, I like the gelatinous feel.
